The Green River (Desolation /Gray Canyons)

Looking downstream from the campsite just below Rattlesnake Rapid, in Gray Canyon. The boat is the Madness 4, a Aire cataraft -- two inflatable twin-tube pontoons strapped to a frame. Well known to river runners, this design still provokes some quizzical looks from the non-boating public. In fact, it is a very stable, agile and reliable boat. And....this one's our baby!
