The Green River (Desolation /Gray Canyons)

A little of the runout chop at Steer Ridge Rapid. The wall on the left usually isn't much of an issue as long as you stay center and think right, but the rapid has a nasty reputation as being unforgiving for careless or inattentive boaters. Like any rapid, on any river, it deserves respect. October 1998
