Mt. Huron lies in the Sawatch Range of Colorado, southeast of Aspen. From the summit, there are great views into the Elk Range to the west and the Collegiate Range to the north. 

Although one of the lowest of Colorado's 54 14,000' peaks (14,005' above sea level), the climb was somewhat arduous, a very long scramble over an interminable boulder field and a fairly steep approach to the summit. We did this in August, 1991.
